CERA: Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary

The Society of Actuaries in Ireland, in conjunction with the CERA Global Association, is pleased to offer members the opportunity to achieve the internationally-recognised Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) credential.

The CERA credential equips risk management professionals to make better business decisions and achieve more profitable outcomes in the fields of finance and insurance and well beyond. Professional, ethical and trusted, a CERA is able to communicate ideas effectively and is qualified to play varying roles within an organisation, from risk manager to Chief Risk Officer and more.

To learn more about the benefits of becoming or employing a CERA – or to Find A CERA - visit the website of the CERA Global Organisation at www.ceraglobal.org

Members can obtain the CERA credential through the completion of specified exams as outlined below in CERA Exam Route.

The Society was also approved by the CERA Global Association to award the CERA designation to a restricted number of our Fellow members who have demonstrated a significant level of Enterprise Risk Management expertise and experience. The list of successful applicants can be found below. Please note that this was a one-off initiative and is now closed.
