The Member Engagement Committee strongly believes our members are anything but average. For the celebratory 50th year that is in it, we are eager to discover more about our members and to see who really lies among the actuaries we know – from sporting heroes to music stars, life partners found over life tables to tales of skills unknown, we want to learn about the people of our profession.
What are our interests, hobbies, success stories and claims to fame? Beyond the common thread of actuarial skills, what fills our free time and make us the diverse, unique and inclusive population we have become over the last five decades? Please let us know! Whether your interests and insights are niche or mainstream, individual or team-orientated, we are asking you to share your stories. From anecdotes to pictures, fun facts to accolades, please tell us more about you - the people of our profession!
