The Member Engagement Committee will chair a panel discussion where we hear from a diverse panel on their experiences, volunteering.

The SAI relies heavily on the voluntary efforts of its members, serving on Committees and Working Groups etc, but this webinar also offers pointers to members who may be interested in volunteering outside the Society, whether for charities or in other contexts. We will discuss the professional considerations that may arise as a result of such voluntary activities. A short presentation from Volunteer Ireland will be followed by a panel discussion covering personal experiences of volunteering and professional implications.

NB: As a security measure, there is a two-step registration process before you receive the link to join any webinar.  The first step is to register your interest in attending a webinar by making a reservation for an event via the Society’s website.  You will receive a link to then register via the Zoom platform.  It is after this second registration step that you will receive the link to join the webinar.
