Directors Interest Group Meeting: Ireland as a European Consolidation Centre

This event is open to SAI Members and invited guests who are currently, or in the recent past have been, Executive or Non-Executive Directors of financial institutions, and to actuaries who aspire to become INEDs in financial institutions.  We have a registered list of people who fall into one of these categories and are interested in attending events.

We are delighted to bring to your attention the December 2019 Directors' Interest Group meeting.

This event is free of charge to SAI Members and invited guests. SAI Members attending this event must book online.  Invited guests must contact events@actuaries.ie to register and attend this event.

Our three speakers for this event are Sylvia Cronin, Tom Barry and Seamus Creedon.  Our speakers will explore the development of consolidator businesses in the life industry and the use of Ireland as a centre for consolidators and bulk reinsurers (many of whom are private equity-based) in the insurance sector.

The members of the Leadership Team for the Group look forward to welcoming you on 2nd December. We will also have the opportunity to network over drinks after the event.
